Abstract

The present invention provides an electrical rotating machine which comprises a main shaft; a radial bearing for supporting the main shaft in a radial direction; a thrust bearing for supporting the main shaft in a thrust direction; a rack for supporting the main shaft with the help of the radial bearing and the thrust bearing; and a thrust bearing cooling liquid passage used for a cooling liquid to flow, the cooling liquid being used for cooling the thrust bearing. According to the electrical rotating machine, the thrust bearing can be effectively cooled. Therefore, disadvantages caused by heating can be prevented, and service life reduction caused by the heat can be suppressed.
