Abstract

The invention relates to a method for producing a calibration body, in particular formed from steel or another metal, for an analysis method. According to the invention, the calibration body is formedfrom a material which is provided for producing a product to be analysed by means of the analysis method, and alters a property of the material in at least one region (9, 11, 12) of a semi-finished product (1) formed from the material. Advantageously, the material property alters only in region that is near the surface and extends from a surface (5, 2, 3, 4,) into the semi-finished product, wherein, preferably, a substance altering the material property is introduced into the region (9, 11, 12) into the semi-finished product (1). The invention further relates to a calibration body and a use of the calibration body.
