The method comprises the steps of obtaining a starting site and an inputted destination site, and obtaining optional routes according to the starting site, the destination site and a prestored subway map; obtaining the boarding time and sites required to be travelled of each optional route, and obtaining thepredicted traveling duration of the sites required to be travelled of each optional route according to the boarding time; respectively obtaining the arrival time of each optional route when arriving at the destination site according to the boarding time, a prestored train timetable of each optional route and the corresponding predicted traveling duration; and calculating the total taking time corresponding to each optional route according to the boarding time and the arrival time, and selecting the optional route corresponding to the shortest total taking time to obtain the optimal taking route. Therefore, the optional route using the least time is enabled to serve as the optimal taking route, and the optimal taking route can be displayed or broadcast to a passenger in voice, thereby beingconvenient for the passenger to take the subway according to the optimal taking route, reducing the travel time, and improving the travel efficiency.
