The piston assembly comprises a piston and a piston rod, wherein the piston rod is pivoted to the piston, the pistoncomprises a body and a pin shaft, the pin shaft penetrates into a mounting hole of the body, and the piston rod sleeves the pin shaft to pivot relative to the pin shaft. The air cylinder comprises thepiston assembly and a cylinder barrel; the piston can reciprocate in the cylinder barrel. The piston rod of the piston assembly is pivoted to the piston, thus the piston rod can drive the piston to move through swing. In this way, rotating driving force can directly act on the piston rod, the loss of the driving force in the transferring process is lowered, and the working efficiency of applyingthe piston assembly is improved.
