Embodiment Construction

[0028] The technical solutions in the embodiments of the present application will be clearly and completely described below in conjunction with the drawings in the embodiments of the present application.

[0029] Artificial neural networks (ANN), also referred to as neural network (NN), is a network structure that imitates the behavioral characteristics of animal neural networks for information processing. The signal to be processed is input into this network, and the signal is transformed nonlinearly through a large number of internal nodes, so as to achieve the purpose of processing information. The basic unit of a neural network is a "neuron", which can be regarded as a calculation and storage unit. Computation is when a neuron performs a calculation on its input signal. Storage means that neurons temporarily store calculation results and pass them on to the next layer of neurons. The basic structure of a neural network is to connect the signals of many input neurons as a...

Abstract

The embodiment of the invention discloses an object detection method and an object detection device. The method comprises the steps of acquiring characteristic information of a to-be-detected object, wherein the characteristic information includes an RGB (Red Green Blue) image, a depth image and three-dimensional point cloud information; determining a shape characteristic matrix of the to-be-detected object according to the depth image and the three-dimensional point cloud information; and determining a category of the to-be-detected object according to the RGB image and the shape characteristic matrix. By use of the embodiment, the accurate rate of object detection can be effectively improved.

Description

technical field [0001] The present application relates to the technical field of data processing, and in particular to an object detection method and device. Background technique [0002] Object detection has always been a hot topic in computer vision research. After detecting an object, it can facilitate storage, analysis, 3D modeling, recognition, tracking and searching of the object. Early research on object detection relied on artificial features, such as Scale-Invariant Feature Transform (SIFT) and SpeededUpRobustFeatures (SURF). Existing algorithms need to extract RGB feature information in red, green, blue (Red, Green, Blue, RGB) images, and match the extracted RGB feature information to achieve the purpose of object detection. However, since the existing algorithm only relies on RGB feature information for object detection, when the color or texture of the object is similar, the existing algorithm is prone to confusion, so that the object detection cannot be perform...
