Abstract

The manned automatic tracking shopping cart comprises a shopping cart body, a power system and a control system, wherein the control system comprises a PLC (Programmable Logic Controller), a pyroelectric sensor for judging whether a target within the detachable range is a living body or not,an ultrasonic sensor for detecting whether the shopping cart body has an obstacle in the advancing process or not as well as an infrared sensor for detecting the distance between the target and the shopping cart. The automatic tracking method comprises the following steps: the pyroelectric sensor first judges whether the target within the detachable range is the living body or not; if a tracking program is executed, alarm indication is performed; the infrared sensor is used for tracking persons and repeating a cycle tracking program; in the process of executing tracking, if the ultrasonic sensor detects that the shopping cart body has the obstacle in the advancing process, an obstacle avoiding program is executed.
