Problems solved by technology

However, the traditional method only considers two vertically adjacent points and does not make full use of spatial information, so the detection accuracy is also low.

Embodiment Construction

[0024] According to the above description, the following describes the specific implementation process of the present invention.

[0025] Step 1: Motion estimation of consecutive frames of video

[0026] The motion estimation of the present invention adopts block matching motion estimation, divides the image frame into several non-overlapping blocks, and uses the block as a unit to find the relative position of the best matching block of each block in the previous frame and the subsequent frame in the target frame, The input image is 3 consecutive frames, I i-1 , I i and I i+1 , where I i is the i-th frame currently to be processed. For each current frame, two matching motion vector matrices are calculated, respectively recording the displacement distance that each pixel point of the current frame needs to travel to the corresponding point in the previous and subsequent frames. The best matching block in the adjacent preceding and following frames is determined by a motio...

Abstract

The present invention provides an old movie spike noise detection method based on adaptive threshold value time-spatial information, and relates to the field of digital image processing. Time domain and space domain information is subjected to full constraint, spike damaging in an old movie is detected, and a detected spike template graph can clearly reflect the information of positions where thespikes are located. The method comprises the steps of: performing motion estimation of an image of a frame to be detected, taking a pixel block as a unit to perform matching between front and rear frames, obtaining two motion vector matrixes for each image, and respectively recording motion vectors of each pixel of a current image at positions corresponding to the front and rear frames; based on the motion estimation result obtained in the step 1, employing an improved SDI (Spike Detection Index) algorithm and an ESROD algorithm to perform comprehensive detection of spikes and perform adaptiveadjustment of the threshold value to detect all the areas which are possible to become spikes; and finally, performing further screening of the spike areas, and employing a time-spatial constraint condition to screen out an accurate spike position to obtain a spike detection result.

Description

technical field [0001] The invention relates to a digital image processing method, in particular to an old film speckle noise detection method based on adaptive threshold spatio-temporal information. Background technique [0002] Speckle detection methods are mainly divided into detection methods based on spatial discontinuity and temporal discontinuity. A.C.Kokaram and P.J.W.Rayner proposed the SDIa (Spike Detection Index-a) detection algorithm based on the intuitive method combined with motion estimation and motion compensation technology. This algorithm is the most basic detection method based on the discontinuous characteristics of spots in the time domain. It first proposes to use three adjacent frames in the video sequence to detect spots, first calculate the square of the pixel difference between the pixel point of the current frame to be detected and the corresponding pixel of the reference frame after front and rear motion compensation, and then calculate the smalle...
