Abstract

The determination method includes the steps that the amplitude of an alternating magnetic field detected by a magnetic sensor is obtained after a current source supplies a casing of a first oil well to enable the first oil well to form the alternating magnetic field, the first well is a well which completes the drilling process, the magnetic sensor is fixed in a second well, the second well is a well which is subjected to the drilling process, and one end of the current source is electrically connected to the top end of the casing of the first well; the other end of the current source is connected with the ground at least 50 meters away, or the other end of the current source is electrically connected to the top end of a casing of a third well, and the third well is another well which completes the drilling process and at least 50 meters away from the first well; and according to the amplitude, the distancebetween the second oil well and the first oil well is determined.
