Abstract

The invention provides a thermal consolidation tester for internal heating of saturated soil and a test method thereof. The thermal consolidation tester comprises a modified triaxial pressure chamber,a sample barrel which can realize internal heating, a temperature controller and an ultrasonic processor, wherein the sample barrel is wrapped by a layer of a rubber film; a small heating particle isembedded in sample soil and is connected with a temperature sensor mounted on the upper part of the top cover of the pressure chamber through a thin wire which has passed through water permeable stone and a sample cap; two arc heating plates symmetrically wrap the inner sides of the side wall of the pressure chamber, and space between the two arc heating plates and the inner sides is filled withheat-insulating asbestos; one end of the temperature sensor passes through a pressure chamber barrel, and the other end of the temperature sensor is connected with the temperature controller through awire; and the ultrasonic processor is composed of an ultrasonic transmitting device, an ultrasonic receiving device and an ultrasonic processing device arranged at two sides of the side wall of the pressure chamber.
