The novel SVG voltage feedforward control method comprises the steps as follows: the SVG acquires current negative sequence voltage when a power grid is unbalanced; the current zero sequence voltage of the SVG is determined according to the current negative sequence voltage and a preset corresponding relation which is between the negative sequence voltage and zero sequence voltage, so that SVG voltage feedforward control is realized; the current zero sequence voltage is superposed to three-phase unbalanced voltage for feedforward control of three-phase voltage reconstruction, so that SVG voltage feedforward control is realized. When the power grid single-phase, two-phase or three-phasevoltage drop asymmetry, a star chain type SVG has stable voltage among three phases and has continuous reactive current output capacity, and meanwhile, the response speed of the asymmetric fault of the power grid is increased.
