[0027] In the SDN of the present disclosure, the topology information of the multicast tree reflecting the current SDN topology will be stored in the memory of the SDN controller. Once a certain link or node fails in the SDN, some nodes in the SDN will be disconnected (hereinafter referred to as disconnected nodes), and can no longer receive data from the root node of the multicast. With the tree network restoration method provided in the present disclosure, at least one new link can be calculated by using the topology information stored in the memory of the SDN controller, so as to reconnect the lost node to the surviving node. In addition, the SDN controller will notify the nodes in the SDN that need to modify the settings according to the above calculation results. In this way, the failed SDN multicast tree can be recovered with high efficiency by using the disclosed technology.
