Abstract

According to the invention, command points on a cutter path are corrected by using an arc correction method, so that smoothness ofcommand points on the cutter path is improved. Then, the cutter path is segmented. On the above basis, each command point in each cutter path segment is corrected through cubic spline fitting. Finally, smoothing is performed on the cutter path in a fitting area through a NURBS curve. Compared with small segments, the NURBS curve used for describing a cutter can ensure cutter path slope and curvature continuity, so that smoothing of the command points is realized.
