The method includes the following steps: start request information can be respectively sent to a vehicle controlunit (VCU), a motor control module (ENG) and an engine control module (ECM) after a vehicle body control module (BCM) detects the start signal of a hybrid vehicle; when a backup module is set in oneof the BCM, ENG and ECM, a self-examination command can be respectively sent to a transmission control unit (TCU), a battery management module (BMS) and a secondary motor controller if the backup module does not receive feedback information generated by the VCU based on the start request information in the preset time; and the backup module can send a start instruction to control the hybrid vehicle to start when judging that the hybrid vehicle meets starting conditions according to the received self-examination result information returned by the TCU, the BMS and the secondary motor controllerand acquiring that the code matching of the ECM and the ENG is successful through detection.
