Abstract

Systems and methods for radiation therapy treatment planning. The present invention facilitates the prediction of achievable dose distributions in radiotherapy treatment planning by training a predictive model of clinical DVH curves based on simplified DVH curves obtained using standardized methods. Machine learning was applied to clinical and simplified DVH curve pairing to achieve further prediction of actual clinical DVH curves based on simplified DVH curves.
