The laser accelerometer comprises a laser, a beam splitter, an F-B resonant cavity, a laser frequency stabilization device and an acceleration detectiondevice, wherein the F-B resonant cavity comprises a first resonant cavity and a second resonant cavity having the same cavity length; light beams emitted by the laser are divided into two beams by the beam splitter; one beam of the laser passes through the first resonant cavity and the laser frequency stabilization device to enter a light source end of the laser, and the laser frequency stabilization device can stabilize the laser frequency of the laser beams emitted by the laser at a resonant frequency of the first resonant cavity; the other beam of laser passes through an acoustooptic frequency shifter of the acceleration detection device to enter the second resonant cavity; when the laser accelerometer has acceleration, the cavity length of the second resonant cavity is correspondinglychanged by an acceleration sensing component, so that the laser frequency of the laser beams output by the second resonant cavity is changed, and the frequency change value is detected by the acoustooptic frequency shifter; therefore, the acceleration magnitude can be obtained.
