Embodiments of the invention disclose a method and a device for monitoring a Kubernetes cluster container. The method comprises the following steps: acquiring, by the first component and the second component, a container application in the Kubernetes cluster and monitoring data of all host nodes; storing the acquired monitoring data in the time series database; using the third component to view the resource usage and performance of the Kubernetes cluster, and displaying the monitoring curve of the container application in the cluster by querying the time series database.
