Abstract

The coupling type overrunning alternator pulley of the automobile engine comprises a mandrel and a pulleyshell. A bearing spring, a one-way spring, a first spring bearing seat and a second spring bearing seat are arranged between the mandrel and the pulley shell. When the pulley of the automobile engineis started and operates clockwise, the first spring bearing seat which is in the interference state with the overrunning alternator pulley shell pulls the one-way spring to rotate; since the one-wayspring and the second spring bearing seat are in the interference state, the second spring bearing seat drives the mandrel to perform synchronous movement, and engagement of a clutch is achieved. Whenthe rotation speed of the pulley shell is lower than that of the mandrel, the first spring bearing seat which is in the interference state with the pulley shell exerts counter thrust to the one-way spring, the one-way spring is expanded, the inner diameter of the one-way spring is larger than the outer diameter of the second spring bearing seat fixed to the mandrel, so that the mandrel and the pulley shell are in the separated state, and disengagement of the clutch is achieved.
