According to the integrated design of the wide-area damping controller considering controller saturation and time delay while introducing the parametric Lyapunov theory, the problem that general time-delay prediction compensation controller control parameters need a quantity of off-line simulation adjustment and experience selection can be effectively solved; due to the fact that the controller can give the explicit form of the control law and meanwhile give the specific range of the parameters, the parameters can be optimized, and thus the controller reaches the optimal dynamic performance. According to the control method, the influence of saturation nonlinearity on a system is fully considered, thus the controller is not subjected to thesaturation phenomenon from beginning to end, and the analytic expression of the controller parameters can be given to ensure stability of the system.
