Abstract

The invention discloses a millimeter-wave radar system which comprises a radar chip module, a receiving antenna array and a transmitting antenna array. The receiving antenna array comprises a plurality of single-line antennas. The transmitting antenna array comprises at least two transmitting antennas. The radar chip module comprises at least two transmitters with phase shifters, and the transmitting antennas and the transmitters are in one-to-one correspondence connection. The phase shifters are used for adjusting the phases of transmitted beams of the corresponding transmitting antennas so as to adjust the maximum gain direction of the transmitting antenna array. According to the millimeter-wave radar system, the phase shifters adjust the phases of the transmitted beams of the corresponding transmitting antennas, thus the phase differences of the transmitted beams of the adjacent transmitting antennas are adjusted so as to adjust the maximum gain direction of the transmitting antennaarray to be changed with changing of the detecting direction, the millimeter-wave radar system achieves multidirectional beam scanning, and then tracking detection of a target is achieved; and the design of the radar system is simplified, the integration level is improved, and the cost of the radar system is lowered.
