The method includes automatic system activation, initialization and alarming, a first time ofposture correction, maintaining of a normal forward pushing state and posture control and pushing before rescue, normal in-water rescue state switching, near-distance in-water rescue and normal in-water rescue state maintaining, normal common return voyage state switching and posture control and pushing after rescue, and automatic system delayed turnoff. The method determines the state of a rescuer by utilizing rescuer postures, water pressure, a pressure difference and changing trends thereof. The device adopts a gravity center adjusting module, a counterweight adjusting module and an air inflation module to adjust gravity, floating force and the gravity center position according to a determination result. An implementing process of the method is simple. The method is economical, suitable, rapid in response, labor-saving and safe. The method can assist a rescuer to reach a rescue location in an efficient and labor-saving manner, and can ensure that the rescuer performs safe and reliable rescue operation under the premise of ensuring safety of the rescuer himself or herself.
