Abstract

The embodiment of the invention provides a method and system for selecting a network at a visit place. The method comprises the steps that: user experiment (UE) receives visit place network information sent by an affiliation network device of the UE, wherein the visit place network information comprises at least one network identifier; and the UE selects an available network in the at least one network. The method and system for selecting the network at the visit place improve the network selection efficiency and reduce the electricity consumption of the user device so as to improve the user experience of a roaming place.
