Abstract

The invention relates to a method for disinfecting at least one palm in a motor vehicle and a device for carrying out the method. Specifically, the invention relates to a method for disinfecting at least one palm in a motor vehicle, in which a disinfecting liquid (5) is dispensed by a device installed in the motor vehicle in such a way that it comes into contact with the at least one palm or can reach. According to the invention, it is proposed the disinfecting liquid (5) is discharged via at least one outlet opening (9) located on a contact surface (10) of at least one operating element (2) such that the dispensed disinfecting liquid (5) is deposited on the contact surface (10) in a local area (B) and distributed around the outlet opening (9). The method disclosed in the invention in a very simple way allows the disinfection of a contact surface of a control element.
