Abstract

A switch port traffic queue method is provided. The method uses strict priority mechanism and token bucket algorithm to realize traffic scheduling of data stream, and comprises the following steps: maintaining a plurality of non-default priority queues and a default priority queue with the lowest priority on the switch port, and maintaining a plurality of sub-queues in the non-default priority queue, each sub-queue corresponding to a token bucket; sending the packet into a corresponding priority queue according to the priority of the data flow belonging to the packet entering the forwarding port, wherein the packet entering the non-default priority is divided into sub-queues based on the packet information; after entering the appropriate queue or sub-queue, routinely sending the packets.
