Abstract

The present invention relates to autonomous vehicle routing based on confusion assessment. Apparatuses and methods for chaos assessment based autonomous vehicle routing are provided. A plurality of route options are generated based on the destination object data relative to the current ego vehicle position data. For each of the plurality of routing options, an associated level of confusion can be evaluated, and an autonomous cooperativeness metric can be generated based on the associated level of confusion. Autonomous selection of a route option from the plurality of route options is based on a favorable measure of autonomous interoperability, and autonomous mission description data is generated based on the route option including the favorable measure of autonomous interoperability. Autonomous mission description data may be sent for autonomously engaging a destination defined by the destination object data.
