The invention discloses a cloud storing system, which comprises a metadata server, a data storing server and a client, wherein the metadata server, the data storing server and the client are respectively correspondingly connected through a TCP / IP network protocol; the metadata server is constructed by adopting centralized architecture and used for storing and managing metadata information of all files in a cloud storing system; the data storing server is constructed by adopting cluster type architecture and is used for storing a file data block and providing a data reading and writing serviceto the client; and the client is used for a user to input an operational instruction so as to implement writing, reading and deletion of the files. According to the technical scheme in the invention,a control stream and a data stream of the file are separated; a load balancing and data redundancy strategy of a storage resource is supported; and the system performance is improved.
