Abstract

The invention discloses a supercapacitor module and a storage system. The module comprises an energy storage module, a boosting module and a controller, wherein the energy storage module consists of aplurality of energy storage capacitors; and the boosting module is connected with the energy storage module and is used for boosting voltage output by the boosting module according to control of thecontroller when the energy storage module carries out discharging and discharging voltage is reduced to a threshold value, so as to satisfy a load need until end-off voltage is obtained. The boostingmodule is added between the load and the energy storage module, the end-off voltage of the energy storage module can be set to be relatively low and the discharging voltage difference is correspondingly reduced, so that the capacity of the released capacitor is improved. Moreover, due to the action of the boosting module, the load can receive constant voltage and is not easy to be influenced by voltage reduction of the capacitors. Finally, due to the advantages of the module, the storage system can have a longer allowed backup time and higher reliability after a main power supply is power down.
