The invention relates to a key negotiation method and device, a terminal and a computer readable storage medium, relating to the technical field of mobile communication. The method is applied to any terminal and comprises steps of: sending user certificate information to an opposite end by any terminal; generating identity authentication information by using the received user certificate information of the opposite end and a packaged public key of the end, and sending the identity authentication information to the opposite end; performing identity authentication on the received identity authentication information of the opposite end; if identity authentication succeeds, generating session secret key generation information by using the packaged public key of the opposite end, and sending the session secret key generation information to the opposite end; and generating a session secret key by using the received session secret key generation information sent by the opposite end. In the method, information of two parties involved in key negotiation makes up identity authentication information, thereby guaranteeing following key negotiation safe; compared with a manner improving communication channel transmission requirement, the method does not depend on core network facility, thereby lowering requirements on network environment and making key negotiation more adaptive.
