Abstract

The invention discloses a method for preparing semi-solid slurry on a composite field. The method is based on an SEED high solid-phase pulping unit and an EMS electromagnetic stirring unit. The methodcomprises following steps that firstly, molten aluminum is poured into the SEED high solid-phase pulping unit and a crucible cylinder; secondly, a stirring device of the EMS electromagnetic stirringunit moves and surrounds to the outer portion of the crucible cylinder; thirdly, the SEED high solid-phase pulping unit and the EMS electromagnetic stirring unit are synchronously started, the crucible cylinder rotates in the horizontal plane, and meanwhile electromagnetic stirring is carried out to make pulp. Compared with the prior art, the method for preparing semi-solid slurry on the compositefield, the SEED+EMS composite pulping process is adopted, the uniformity of the solid phase rate and consistency of grain size of pulp made through the SEED process can be improved, the slurry quality is improved, and meanwhile, the quality of a high solid-phase semi-solid state casting can be improved.
