The material management cabinet comprises a cabinet body, a cabinet bodyunderframe, an auxiliary supporting unit and a control measurement module; the cabinet body is arranged on the cabinet body underframe; the cabinet body is internally provided with a plurality of drawers which are stacked and used for storing materials; the cabinet body underframe is provided with a weighing unit for measuring the weight of the whole material management cabinet in real time; the auxiliary supporting unit applies an upward constant supporting force to the cabinet body underframe, and the amplitude value of the supporting force is smaller than the weight of the cabinet body underframe without the materials; and the control measurement module is used for controlling the opening of the drawers, calculating the amount of the materials in the material management cabinet according to parameters of a weighing sensor and displaying the amount. The auxiliary supporting mechanism is capable of generating the upward constant supporting force for the cabinet body in a measurement process, so that most of self-weight of the cabinet body can be balanced, the load range of the sensor can be reduced without affecting the measurement precision, and the measurement range of the sensor can be effectively reduced.
