The method comprises the following steps of collection: absorbing and collecting the industrial spraying waste gas; impurity removal: removing solid impurities in the industrial spraying waste gas to obtain completely gaseous waste gas; condensation: condensing the completely gaseous waste gas at a temperature of 20- 24 DEG C, and removing condensed liquid to obtain preliminary methybenzene-removed waste gas; and adsorption: performing activated carbon adsorption treatmenton the preliminary methybenzene-removed waste gas. A gaseous biological treatment technology applied to the industrial spraying waste gas overcomes the deficiency of the nonexistence of a comprehensive treatment method in the prior art, and realizes comprehensive treatment of the industrial spraying waste gas containing the methylbenzene.
