Abstract

The invention discloses a backlight module and a display device, belonging to the technical field of display. The backlight module comprises a frame body, a light bar, a conductive connecting portionand at least one optical film. The frame body forms a holding space to hold the light bar, the conductive connecting portion and the at least one optical film; the light bar comprises a flexible circuit board and a plurality of light-emitting elements electrically connected to the flexible circuit board; the flexible circuit board comprises a protective film and a grounding trace; the protective film comprises at least one hollow portion which exposes at least part of the grounding trace; the grounding trace is electrically connected with the conductive connecting portion and the frame body. The frame body obtains the ground potential of the grounding wire through the conductive connecting portion to rapidly release the static electricity to protect the structure in the backlight module from being electrostatically damaged. The connection structure is simple, and reliability is high. The frame body can protect the conductive connecting portion.
