Abstract

The invention provides a linear vibration motor. The linear vibration motor comprises a base vibration unit with an accommodating space, an elastic part for suspending the vibration unit in the accommodating space and a coil for driving the vibration unit to vibrate; the elastic part is located on one side of the vibration direction of the vibration unit, and the coil and the vibration unit are opposite to each other and are arranged at intervals; the elastic part comprises a ring-shaped main body defined by elastic arms, a first fixed arm which extends from two opposite elastic arms of the main body and is fixed on the base, a second fixed arm extends from the other two opposite elastic arms of the main body and is fixed to the vibration unit, a reinforcing rib which extends from one of the elastic arms to the other elastic arm which is opposite to the elastic arm and is connected with the elastic arm, and damping parts which are at least attached to the local positions of the elasticarms. Compared with the related art, the linear vibration motor disclosed by the invention is high in vibration performance and long in service life.
