Abstract

The invention discloses a target identification method and device. The method comprises the steps of performing super-pixel segmentation on a polarimetric synthetic aperture radar SAR image; and determining a target to which each block after superpixel segmentation belongs so as to realize target identification. Through performing super-pixel segmentation on the polarized SAR image, a target in each block after superpixel segmentation is determined, so that the target is finally determined, the target is identified from the polarimetric SAR image. The calculation is carried out by taking the block as the unit instead of the pixel as the unit, and meanwhile, the correlation among the blocks is considered, so that the operation speed is increased, and the accuracy of target identification isimproved.
