The method comprises the steps of S1, acquiring underwater environment parameters, communication medium parameters and transmitting / receiving electrode plate parameters; S2, calculating a potential difference value received by the receiving electrode plate at any position relative to the transmitting electrode plateand the deflection angle according to a formula, inputting a xyz-axis coordinate to be observed by a user, and giving out a potential difference distribution four-dimensional diagram received on thex-y plane and the deflection angle z dimension and an electric field distribution diagram of a transmitting electrode plate equivalent electric dipole; and S3, analyzing the potential difference distribution diagram and the electric field distribution diagram, and inputting the values of x and y coordinates and the deflection angle z of the receiving electrode plate by a user to obtain a potentialdifference value received by the receiving electrode plate so as to realize the communication analysis of the underwater electric field.
