Problems solved by technology

However, with regard to the arms located far outside the patient, this can only be achieved to a limited extent, since the fat saturation is only effective to a limited extent due to the increasingly inhomogeneous basic magnetic field in the edge region of the patient accommodation
An alternative is to use more radial k-space lines for the reconstruction of the magnetic resonance image, but this reduces the temporal resolution and the dynamics are therefore less and less visualized

Embodiment Construction

[0024] Now, an embodiment of the invention is described below with regard to the determination of a dynamic image data set of a patient, which is to show liver perfusion. In order to be able to image liver perfusion in dynamic magnetic resonance imaging as a dynamic process, a contrast agent is administered to a patient and changes in the contrast agent concentration in the patient's liver are measured.

[0025] here, figure 1 Examination region 1 , obtained by the radial sampling used here, is shown as an example, which essentially includes the entire patient 2 shown here in cross-section. It is clear that only the torso 3 with the liver 4 is relevant for the dynamic process to be measured; in the arm 5 situated in the outer area, the homogeneity of the magnetic field of the magnetic resonance device is also already limited, and the dynamic process to be measured does not occur in the arm 5 process. Therefore, the examination area 1 can be divided into a dynamic area 6 and ...

Abstract

The invention relates to a method for recording and reconstruction of a four-dimensional dynamic image data set of an examination region of a patient by utilizing a magnetic resonance device. In the method, MR data are continuously acquired by radial scanning of an examination region along radial k-space lines during a dynamic process, wherein in each time period of a time period recording the dynamic process, a magnetic resonance can be reconstructed according to at least a portion of magnetic resonance data relevant to the k-space recorded in the time period, and the examination region can be divided into a dynamic region where the dynamic procedure occurs and a non-dynamic region outside the dynamic region. Static image data are reconstructed from all of the acquired MR data; image data therein originating from the non-dynamic region are marked and subjected to inverse transformation so as to be removed from the magnetic resonance data; and magnetic resonance images for different time periods are reconstructed according to the corrected magnetic resonance data, wherein in order to gather dynamic image data sets in the dynamic region, contents of the magnetic resonance images are utilized.

Description

technical field [0001] The invention relates to a method for recording and reconstructing a four-dimensional dynamic image data set, in particular a perfusion image data set, of an examination region of a patient with a magnetic resonance device, wherein during the dynamic process to be imaged, the radial sampling along the Recording magnetic resonance data of the examination region along radial k-space lines, wherein, in each time segment comprising the recording time segment of the dynamic process, according to at least As part of this, the MRI image is reconstructed. Furthermore, the invention relates to a magnetic resonance apparatus, a computer program and an electronically readable data carrier. Background technique [0002] Magnetic resonance imaging is currently an established imaging modality in medical technology. While the static magnetic resonance image data of a patient can be recorded with a magnetic resonance apparatus on the one hand, dynamic magnetic reson...
