The transaction prediction methodcomprises the following steps: obtaining a target city to which the target salesman belongs, obtaining a plurality of merchant gathering areas in the target city; acquiring merchant data of each merchant gathering area; obtaining historical transaction data of each merchant gathering area in a first time period; inputting the merchant data of each merchant gathering area and the historical transaction data in the first time period into a transaction prediction model; and based on the transaction prediction model, obtaining a predicted transaction number of each merchant gathering area in a second time period, and according to the predicted transaction number of each merchant gathering area in the second time period, determining at least one target merchant gathering area from each merchant gathering area.
