Abstract

A wireless communication method is provided. The method includes sending a first signal during a first time interval. The first signal is encoded using a first spreading sequence generated by permuting the root sequence based on permutation parameters associated with the first index. The method also includes sending a second signal during a second time interval. The second signal is encoded using a second spreading sequence generated by permuting the root sequence based on permutation parameters associated with the second index. The method also includes receiving an indication of the first index or an indication of the second index from a user equipment (UE).
