At present, there is no special water body ecological restoration method for the saline water river channels. The method can achieve water body restoration of the saline water river channels in high-latitude regions. According to the method, samphire is firstly domesticated to adapt to the environment in the high-latitude regions, and then river channel restoration is conducted. Samphire is mainly distributed in the tropical zone, the subtropical zone and the high-latitude regions over 29 degrees north latitude, and is free of natural distribution.
