In a DDI (Double Data Interchange) self-adaptive SPR (Surface Plasmon Resonance) method, after various edge types are effectively detected with STH (similar threshold) and DSTH (dissimilar threshold) using a filter directionally reconfigurable according to edge information, filter coefficients are effectively modified with edge information using a simple equation, and edge cracking in sub-pixel rendering is reduced by retaining edges.
