Abstract

The invention relates to a module for an aircraft. The module comprises at least one transverse member (14), wherein the at least one transverse member extends in a lateral direction (Y) of the moduleand is intended to be fixed to a frame of a fuselage (30). The module comprises engagement means (34) mounted on at least one of the two opposite ends of a cross member, engagement means (34) for engaging to the fuselage frame, the engagement means (34) being configured to be movable from a stand-by position in which it protrudes from the cross member in the lateral direction (Y) to a deployed engagement position. The invention also relates to an aircraft section comprising such a module and to an aircraft comprising such an aircraft section, and to an assembly method for assembling an aircraft section. Thereby, the aircraft module (8) is easier to assemble in an interior space (10) defined by the fuselage of the aircraft.
