Abstract

The invention discloses a sorter for invisible heterogeneous fibers in cotton. The sorter comprises a conveying device and a detection device, wherein the detection device comprises an outer cover, camera shooting equipment and at least two light sources, and a hollow detection space is formed in the outer cover; the cotton is conveyed into the detection space by means of the conveying device; light sources in the detection space are turned on to carry out ultraviolet irradiation on the cotton on the conveying device so as to generate fluorescence; a fluorescence image is acquired by means ofthe camera shooting equipment; and positions and sizes of the invisible heterogeneous fibers in the cotton are determined according to analysis of the fluorescence image, such that the invisible heterogeneous fibers can be sorted; and the light sources are arranged in the detection space, and the at least two light sources are obliquely arranged on a placement surface at a preset angle, so that the light sources form uniform light on the placement surface of the conveying device.
