Example Embodiment

[0044] Example one

[0045] This embodiment provides an image processing-based system for detecting the height of the hitting point when the shuttlecock serves, including: a video data acquisition module, a data processing module, and a data display module. The video data acquisition module collects the video of the badminton game and simultaneously collects The received video is transmitted to the data processing module. The data processing module runs the badminton ball height detection program to analyze and calculate the data. Finally, the height of the ball hitting point at the start is obtained, and the result is transmitted to the data display module. The display module outputs the height of the hitting point when serving.

[0046] In this embodiment, the video data acquisition module includes a depth sensor and an adaptor, the depth sensor is connected to the adaptor, and the adaptor is connected to the data processing module; the depth sensor can meet the needs of shooting...

Example Embodiment

[0050] Example two

[0051] The present embodiment provides a method for detecting the height of the hitting point of a shuttlecock based on image processing, including the following steps:

[0052] Step S1: The video data collection module shoots a badminton game video, and transmits the video information to the data processing module while collecting the video information;

[0053] Step S2: A program for detecting the height of the hitting point when the shuttlecock serves is run in the data processing module, which calculates and processes the data through image processing technology;

[0054] Step S3: The data display module outputs the height of the hitting point when the ball is served, and compares it with the height specified in the rules to determine whether the serve is foul.

[0055] In this embodiment, the step S2 includes the following steps:

[0056] Step S21: The system is started, the system is initialized, and it is judged whether the depth sensor is turned on correctly;...

Abstract

The invention provides a height detection system and method for a hitting point during badminton serving. The height detection system comprises a video data acquisition module, a data processing module and a data display module, wherein the video data acquisition module comprises a depth sensor and an adapter; and the depth sensor acquires image data of a badminton game video, eliminates static pixels, reserves dynamic pixels, superimposes the dynamic pixels in a frame-by-frame manner, identifies and fits a motion track of a dynamic object in the dynamic pixels, and judges that the dynamic object is a badminton if the motion track is presented as a parabola. A data processing process is relatively fast, a detection result has timeliness, and normal playing of a game is ensured. According to the height detection system and method, the static pixels are eliminated, the calculation amount is greatly reduced, and the operation process is simplified, so that the operation speed is improved.Through the height detection system and method, the height of the hitting point during badminton serving can be accurately detected, so that an objective basis is provided for a judge to judge whether serving is faulty or not.

Description

Technical field [0001] The invention relates to the technical field of sports goods, in particular to a system and method for detecting the height of the hitting point when the badminton serves. Background technique [0002] Badminton is a very interesting activity. Since 1992, badminton has become an official event of the Olympic Games. The Badminton World Federation discussed and approved a new badminton serve rule in November 2017, which requires that the height of the hitting point not exceed 1.15 meters when serving. [0003] This rule that the height of the hitting point cannot exceed 1.15 meters in today's games often causes disputes between referees and players. Because it is too specific, and there is currently no relevant device that can accurately measure the height of the hitting point at the time of starting the ball, whether it is a violation can only be determined by the referee after visual inspection, which is highly subjective. In domestic and foreign competitio...
