The method comprises the following steps: acquiring hybrid automatic repeat request (HARQ) entities and media accesscontrol (MAC) entities corresponding to a plurality of transmission carriers; and performing data transmission between the transmission carrier and the HARQ entity and the MAC entity corresponding tothe transmission carrier. According to the embodiment of the invention, the terminal adopts different HARQ processes to transmit and receive data through a plurality of different transmission carriers, and supports HARQ transmission of different transmission carriers.
