A wheel hub assembly 10 for motor vehicles, provided with a first hub 20, which is stationary, a second hub 31, which is rotatable, and a bearing unit 30 in turn having a radially outer ring 31' provided with respective radially external raceways, at least one radially inner ring 34, 34' provided with respective radially internal raceways, at least one row of rolling bodies 32, 33, positioned between the corresponding internal and external raceways, at least one sealing device 40, 41, positioned on the axially inner side 40 with respect to the at least one row of rolling bodies 32, 33. A metaldeflector 50 configured so as to allow the water to drain and protect the area of the sealing device 40 from the external contaminant is mounted by interference on the rotating hub 31.
