The distributed storage method comprises the steps of: correspondingly segmenting a file into a preset number of file modules according to the number of first servers, and storing the preset number of file modules on the first servers; encoding the preset number offile modules by adopting server encoding, encoding the preset number of file modules by adopting an error correction code ECC, and generating parallel file modules corresponding to the preset number of file modules; calculating a message authentication code MAC of the preset number of file modules, storing the message authentication code MAC in the parallel file modules, and storing the parallel file modules containing the message authentication code MAC on a second server; and repairing the files stored in the first server through using the parallel file modules which contain the message authentication code MAC and are stored on the second server. Therefore, the distributed storage method and the distributed storage device guarantee the file can be normally read, and the usability and safety of the storage method can be improved.
