The engine aftertreatment anti-cheating method of the heavy-duty diesel vehicle comprises the following steps of acquiring the rotating speed and torque of an engine, and determining the exhaust temperature reference range; acquiring an exhaust temperature detection value; judging whether the exhaust temperature detection value is within an exhaust temperature reference range or not; and if not, sending an external torque request instruction to the ECU to limit the output torque of the engine. According to the engine aftertreatment anti-cheating method of the heavy-duty diesel vehicle, a response can be made when the aftertreatment system has a cheating condition, the torque output of the engine is limited, a driver is forced to recover the normal working state of a exhaust temperature sensor, and the effect of protecting the environment is achieved.
