Executed in a computing device, the method comprises the following steps: separately inputting a to-be-classified image into a preset first classification model and a preset second classification model so that the first classification model determines a target first category to which the to-be-classified image belongs from a plurality of first categories, the second classification model determines a target second category to which the to-be-classified image belongs from a plurality of second categories, wherein the second categories are sub-categories of the first categories; when the target second category is a preset subdivision category, inputting the to-be-classified image into a corresponding dichotomy model, so that the dichotomy model further determines whether the to-be-classified image belongs to the target second category or not; and when it is determined that the to-be-classified image belongs to the target second category, outputting the to-be-classified image and the target first category and the target second category to which the to-be-classified image belongs.
