The method comprises the steps of dividing a physical memory required by the operating system into a static memory area and a dynamic memory area in a starting stage of the operating system; when a memory allocation request of a user is received, determining to allocate a memory space of a corresponding size to the user from the static memory area or the dynamic memory area according to the size of the memory space allocated by the user request; and when a memory release request of a user is received, determining to release the corresponding memory space from the static memory area or the dynamic memory area according to the memory address requested to be released by the user. The method has the following advantages: through combination of static memory management and dynamic memory management, the real-time performance of memory allocation and release is ensured, theutilization rate of the memory is improved, the problem of memory fragmentation is effectively avoided, and meanwhile, the memory retrieval speed is increased.
