Abstract

The invention provides a method for identifying inherited pores in dolomite. The method comprises the following steps: obtaining a dolomite sample for isotope dating, wherein the dolomite sample for isotope dating simultaneously contains dolomite surrounding rock and an earliest-stage dolomite cementing material loaded in pores and alteration does not occur; delineating dolomite surrounding rock in the dolomite sample for isotope dating and the earliest-stage dolomite cement loaded in the pores, and performing isotope dating to obtain the age of the dolomite surrounding rock and the age of theearliest-stage dolomite cement loaded in the pores; and if the age difference between the dolomite surrounding rock and the dolomite cement loaded in the pores at the earliest stage does not exceed the age difference threshold value, judging that the pores of the dolomite are inherited pores. According to the method, through the objective comparison of ages of surrounding rock dolomite and cementdolomite, a quantitative means is provided for the identification of inherited pores in dolomite.
