The novel sealing form of the gate valve comprises a sealing groove which is formed by inwards sinking a valve frame part of the gate valve and a sealing body which is arranged in the sealing groove, and in addition, the sealing body is connected with inflation equipment through an inflation pipe and a pressurization nozzle, so that when the gate valve is opened, the sealing body is in a non-pressurization state and when the gate valve is closed, the inflating equipment carries out pressurization on the sealing body so that the sealing body expands and fills a gap between a valve frame and a valve plate, and complete sealing is achieved. According to the novel sealing form of the gate valve, the problem that a sealing face is damaged in the opening and closing process of the gate valve is solved, and therefore it is guaranteed that the gate valve keeps the zero leakage rate for a long time.
